The shape is nice and it fits my laptop well, although I'm not sure whether it would accommodate a larger laptop. Moreover, the stitching and handles aren't consistently neat, which makes the overall quality feel a bit lacking. If I'd seen it in person before buying, I might have reconsidered my purchase. The leather was also not the best quality I've seen. I'm also glad I bought it on sale because, at full price, I would've felt even more disappointed with the value for money. On an administrative note, it was difficult to determine whether refunds are available, as that information wasn't easy to find.
Overall, the bag gets the job done, but at this price point, I think there are better-quality options available.
I purchased the Kingsley Double Layer Canvas and Leather Duffel with Shoe Compartment through another e-commerce retailer that regularly stocks Woodstock Leather products. It was bought as a gift and, despite only occasional use, both the shoulder strap and the zips failed within less than two months.
I contacted Woodstock Leather to enquire about a repair or replacement. Unfortunately, I no longer had access to the original order number, and they refused to assist. I provided clear photographs showing that it was unmistakably one of their bags and that it was still in near-new condition apart from the failed strap and zips, but this made no difference.
Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Woodstock Leather. The workmanship was extremely poor for what appears to be a premium product, and the lack of after-sales support was equally frustrating. If you're looking for a durable travel bag backed by good customer service, I would suggest looking elsewhere.
